About me, Ellie Slee
she/her
I’m a freelance writer focusing on fashion, pop culture, feminism and motherhood. I’ve written for Refinery29, The Establishment and the Sunday Times, among others, and my life writing was shortlisted for the Wasifiri New Writing Prize 2020. I’m also an experienced copywriter, with particular emphasis on fashion (but I’ll write about anything!).
I was previously the Production Editor at women’s writing magazine Mslexia, where I was responsible for comissioning and editing content as well as creating the print magazine. Prior to that, I managed a large team of copywriters at a luxury online retailer, wrote a PhD on prison architecture and spent ten years waitressing.
I love to create content for varied audiences and am always interested in expanding my written repertoire, so do get in touch if you’re interested in working together. I can be reached at eleanorfrancesslee at gmail dot com or on Twitter @sleeful.
